Duplicate Resolution - ORA 56720 - Data Limit exeeded

We are facing a global issue with duplicate resolution.
Seems the max amout of merge request is reached.

we need to know what we can do / how this can be solved

ORA 56720 - I/O Data Limit exeeded - call aborted

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. In Navigator click Duplicate Resolution

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot merge records.
