Symptoms

On : 11.1.11.1.0 version, Partner Management

Screen blanks out after displaying error when SSR is updated and saved

SSR (Service Support Request) is a Custom Sales object. It is a related object for Opportunity. An Opportunity can have multiple SSRs.
Once we create and update a SSR and then click on Save, we get the error
"You cannot lock this record because it is already locked by another user"

Once we click on the OK button the background becomes blank and we have to cancel which will take you to the Opportunities list view.

Please check why the background becomes blank after displaying the error and takes you to the Opportunity List view.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create SSR
2. Update SSR
3. Click Save
4. Error Shows: "You cannot lock this record because it is already locked by another user"
5. Click Ok
6. Background is Blank
