Alternate Approvals

I have some queries regarding the Alternate Approval Configuration in the Workforce Compensation Plan.

I have configure my plan and I am deriving the plan hierarchy using FF from a UDT. In the alternate approver table, I have configured one user XYZ who is not in the hierarchy.

Below are my questions for the Alternate Approvals:

1. As per the alternate approver table, XXX is the alternate approver for XYZ and XYZ is the approver for ABC. When ABC is submitting the plan, It goes to XYZ for approval. Once XYZ approves, the notification is not getting triggered to get the approval from XXX.

2. Since, XYZ is not the part of the hierarchy, she can only see the summary data of the worksheet in the notification but she does not have any option to see the actual worksheet data. Please suggest how this can be done.
