Last updated on AUGUST 04, 2018

Applies to:

Corente Cloud Services Exchange - Version 9.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

unable to establish connectivity between on-premsises network and DBaaS service (Compute) instances

The routing table on the instance shows no route to the for the on-premises network but route exists for the CSG

$ sudo ip ro sh

default via 10.196.24.117 dev eth0

10.196.24.116/30 dev eth0 proto kernel scope link src 10.196.24.118

172.16.254.1 dev gre1 scope link

 The route to the CSG confirms the initialization script is partly working, you will now want to examine the opc-corente-monitor.log for errors.

$ tail -f /var/log/opc-compute/opc-corente-monitor.log

Command: ip route add 10.70.16.0/16 via 172.16.254.1
Output:
RTNETLINK answers: Invalid argument
