Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When searching or when using typeAhead, no results appear.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Searching for a product on the application storefront retrieves results.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to the production storefront instance.
2. Enter a search term, observe that typeahead does not trigger.
3. Push enter
4. Review the search results page, see a blank page, or "no results found" response.

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, customers are unable to search for products.

Additionally, a "500" response is seen in the network tab of the developer's console on the /search endpoint call.
