Unsuccessful status when trying to import records for a custom object (Doc ID 2190214.1)

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Error Importing file for Custom Object

When importing a custom object, the Import activity Status changes to Unsuccessful.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Importing into Custom Object should not error out with status Unsuccessful.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Import a file containing Custom Object
2. Observe that the job seems to be stuck.
2. After sometime, the job status changes to unsuccessful.

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot import records into the custom object.
