ER - Sales Predictor - Product Revenue Should Be Aggregated Automatically (Doc ID 2190423.1)

On : version, Sales Predictor

1. Describe how the current product is insufficient.

Customer wants to run the Sales Predictor with the revenue information of Level2 or 3 of product group.
Sales Predictor provides the ability to select specific product group or product to running the sales predictor. But the selection of the product group or product is not applying the hierarchy of product group

For example, Assumes that Product Group contains 5 product and 5 product has an Won opportunity with associated line item & revenue, If Customer selects the Product Group level in Sales Predictor for analysis, currently only the
revenue which Product Group has is applied

2. Provide a detailed description of the Enhancement Request.

Sales Predictor should provide ability to aggregate The Level 5 of product revenue information into upper level of product hierarchy, for example in case of choosing, Level 2, and using Level 2 product hierarchy information
for Sales Predictor Modeling and Lead generation, The Product Group's revenue should applying sum of 5 level of products which is under the product group.

But solution provides only for the specific product group's sole revenue.

3. If possible, identify how the product can be changed to achieve the desired result.

Sales Predictor itself provides the powerful functionalities to provide Sales Rep to analyzing their opportunities. If Sales Predictor provides the flexibility, then it provides much more powerful functions.

4. Explain why Oracle Development should consider the Enhancement Request.

Once customer have this ER in Sales Cloud, expect that Sales Cloud function and features are more powerful and flexible to meet the global customer's business expectation.
