Sales Cloud for Outlook SSO unable to login after an update bundle or an upgrade (Doc ID 2191291.1)

Symptoms

On : 11.1.11.1.0 version, Microsoft Outlook

When attempting to login to Sales Cloud for Outlook with SSO enabled ,
the following error occurs.

ERROR
-----------------------
Failed to Login using given user info. Please re-enter your user name and password and try again .


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Start Outlook , The login screen for Sales cloud for Outlook will appear
2. Enter user name and password and hit login
3. The login fails with the below error
"Failed to Login using given user info. Please re-enter your user name and password and try again . "
