Sales Cloud for Outlook : Synchronization maximum number of records limited to 25,000 (Doc ID 2192582.1)

Symptoms

 Starting September 2016 Update Bundle , an upper limit of 25,000 records will be implemented for Sales Cloud for Outlook sync with Sales Cloud .

Users will be able to sync down a maximum number of 25,000 records from Sales Cloud to Outlook . This will include both direct and indirect records .

If the synced number of records exceeds the limit of 25,000 , the sync would fail and user will receive a message similar to following in the system tray :

Connection Error: Message synchronization scope has exceeded maximum object count. Error Code : FC0116
