Calendar End Period Not Available When Creating The Paysheet

Calendar end period not available in while creating the payment batch
The calendar defined for the implementation has annual period as Jan-2016 with start date and end date as 1-Jan-2017 to 27-Jan-2017.
While creating the payment batch ,We don't see the final period to create the payment batch . The earnings are calculated annually, thus this period is needed for payment batch.
The period 1st of January and 27th of January 2017 should appear when creating the pay group.
