Users Unable to Complete Assignment Action on Engage Messages (Doc ID 2195939.1)

Symptoms

SRM is not allowing us to 'complete' message assignment in Engage. 

User selects complete button, but tool only shows the loading symbol and does not resolve to the next step.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Clicking "Complete" should allow user to complete the action and signify it's been received.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Go to Engage > locate message to assign > choose user and make comment > assign > assigner opens message > clicks to complete but button isn't responsive.

Team confirmed a 500 console error was appearing when user tried to complete the action.
