Merge Account With Two Sales Team Members Through WebService Error

We are currently facing an error, by trying to use the mergeAccount webservice with two saleTeamMembern.
The error we are receiving is:
The resource cannot be added as a sales team member because it is invalid. You must add resources with a valid ID or e-mail as sales team members.
If I merge the two salesTeamMember seperate everything works fine.
