Symptoms

On : 11.1.10.0.0 version, Performance Management

Error in searching historic performance documents

As checked from Manager login while searching performance document in R10 via Performance icon and then clicking on magnifying glass on right hand side to open up Search where as an employee and LM I could put in worker name (self) and got all the performance documents for self and by putting in a DR name got all the performance documents for my DR. However when trying to search for someone else's documents both using the Basic search and the Advanced search getting errors as "Please provide a value that does not begin with a wildcard character for attribute Worker Name".

Please note - that while searching an employee in 'Basic' mode and then changing it to 'Advanced' mode, wild character appears automatically as suffix with the keyword; we are not inputting any wild character from our end. Also, the 'auto entry' wild character get added as suffix with keyword, but error message says "Please provide a value that DOES NOT BEGIN with a wildcard character" which is confusing.

ERROR
-----------------------

Please provide a value that does not begin with a wildcard character for attribute Worker Name".

STEPS
-----------------------
Issue can be reproduced with below steps :

1. Click on magnifying glass icon and enter a worker name eg. 'Andrew' in basic mode.
2. Then click on 'Advanced' button in search window. Advanced search window will open and entered worker name will appear in Worker name field with a suffix as '%' eg. Andrew%
3. Change operator from worker name from 'Start With' to 'End With'.
4. Click on Search button. Here entered worker does not start with wildcard character but still getting the error.
