Country Field In Account Object Only Displays Code

On a custom Account object layout, the OOTB Country field present on the Account object is added to custom field group.
Customer has used the OOTB Country field present on the Account object PrimaryAddressCountry.
This only only the 2 letter country code, when exposed on the UI.
Customer wants to be able to use the country name instead of country code.
