How to assign sales resources to leads based on postal code ranges?
1. Is there any chance to set postal code ranges (of the attribute Primary Contact Postal Code) within the assignment rule? We cannot find an appropriate operator (like “BETWEEN”).
2. As you can imagine it is a quite bad workaround to store all the defined postal codes of the territories as custom assignment rules (e.g. change of territory structure, change of members etc.). Is there any best-practice approach for customers who want to assign their leads via the postal codes defined within the territory setup? Will it be possible in future releases that the territory based assignment will read the address information of a lead which has no relationship to an account or contact?
