Finders on AltKey finders not working and PrimaryKey finder

4. Finders

AltKey finders not working with R11 and R10

We observed that finders with the pattern “AltKey” are not working. Below are the URIs that are not working in R11 as well as in R10
Resources
https://XXXX:443/crmCommonApi/resources/11.1.10/resources?finder=PartyIdAltKey;PartyId=300000000720341
Accounts
https://XXXXXX:443/crmCommonApi/resources/11.1.10/accounts?finder=PartyNumberAltKey;PartyNumber=10003
 

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Altkey finder should work with PartyId in REST calls.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Make a REST call using PartyNumberAltKey finder

https:// XXXXXX:443/crmCommonApi/resources/11.1.10/accounts?finder=PartyNumberAltKey;PartyNumber=10003

2. No results are returned.

BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot use finders with alt keyword to return and filter records in REST calls.
