Removed Favorite Field From Outlook Account Page But It Is Still Visible In Outlook (Doc ID 2203401.1)

Customer removed favorite field from outlook pages but it is still visible in outlook

Customer created duplicate page for account outlook pages and removed favorite field and published the sandbox. But that field is still available in outlook. and we are not able to remove it again.

Customer do not want Favorite field on Account detail page in Outlook . But they are unable to remove it. In one of the duplicate layouts, they were able to remove it from Customer detail subform, but its not removed from Outlook. If we create a new duplicate layout from default layout, the Favorite field is grayed out in Available fields section, so we cannot move it to Selected Fields. Still it is shown in Outlook form.

Customer should be able to remove Favorite field from Account Details page

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create duplicate layout from Outlook pages > Account Details > Default Layout
2. In Customer Detail subform, Favorite field is not in Selected fields
3. Package > Generate > Remove customization > Sync
4. Favorite field is still seen in Outlook

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot remove Favorite field from Account form
