Email Field On SimplifiedUI Not Editable (Doc ID 2203490.1)

Goal

Customer is using Desktop UI and there exists a field called Email that we can update on creation page.

Moving to simplified, this field doesn't exist anymore and the only Email field we can not update.

Is there a way to allow the old field on the simplified page?
