Error: "Session Failed: Login failed. Failed to connect to host." When Attempting to Launch P6 Professional via Primavera Virtual Desktop (Doc ID 2204480.1)

Symptoms

Using Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management Cloud Service (P6 EPPM), when attempting to launch the Primavera Virtual Desktop, the following issue occurs after selecting the P6 Professional link from the Secure Global Desktop (SGD) Workspace:

ERROR

Session Failed: Login failed. Failed to connect to host.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Login to the Cloud Portal
  2. Launch the Primavera Virtual Desktop link.  Note, The Secure Global Desktop workspace loads.
  3. Launch the P6 Professional link.  Note, the Secure Global Desktop window attempts to run but a window pop-up occurs with the noted error instead.
