16.4 Testing - Ship Methods Irregularities Between Storefront and Agent Console (Doc ID 2206162.1)

Symptoms

Issue 1.
---------

Go to https://<server>.oracleoutsourcing.com/

1.Add an item to the shopping cart
2.Select the shipping method

Economy $6.00
Ground $9.00
Two Business Days $25.00
Overnight $45.00

Go to https://<server>.oracleoutsourcing.com/occs-agent/

1.Retrieve the order
2.Change Shipping Method
The change will not reflect in the storefront.

Similarly go back to the storefront and change the shipping method and it will not reflect on the admin.

Issue 2
---------

Free Shipping and no tax in Agent Console

For Shipping Method -> Economy $6.00 if the items in the basket cross $50 then shipping is free and this works fine.

Place items into the basket on the storefront and select one of the below shipping methods:-
Ground $9.00
Two Business Days $25.00
Overnight $45.00

Then retrieve the basket from Agent Console.
It will show the correct items, quantities, ship method, tax etc.

Go back to storefront increase quantities or add more items and hit the Update button.
When you retrieve the basket again in AC, the selected shipping method cost in AC will be deducted from the total, giving the customer free shipping even though they may not be eligible and the tax also becomes $0.00.
At this point if you change the shipping address then the shipping method cost and tax will both be retrieved correctly.

Both these issues could be related.
