Why the Extra Step to Post Mass Transfer Transactions Created from Transfer Assets > Mass Tab? (Doc ID 2208141.1)

Goal

When you create transfer via spreadsheet, you get an option to give the posting status as Post. When you give the status as POST, the expectation is system will post the transaction.
However in reality system doesn’t post the transaction but actually moves it to the POST queue on dashboard and then you have to manually post this transactions.

Why does system not post this transaction directly and you have to do this extra step of posting the transaction?
When we use forms to transfer asset and submits the transaction system automatically posts the transaction.

Why is the behavior not consistent with spreadsheet upload?
