When a search has a large number of results, the results are displayed over a set of pages. There are links at the bottom of each page showing the current location within the context of the overall set of results. The links display page numbers that are near to the currently displayed page in the overall sequence of pages.

A customer observed that the list of page number links does not vary for the first few pages of results, but rather it just shows links for pages 1 - 5. The visible list of page numbers doesn't list any pages beyond 5 until the arrow button is used to step beyond page 5 page. The criticism made was that this behavior doesn't reveal that there are any more pages of results beyond those first 5. This may may cause the user to believe that there are no more results after the first 5 pages.

Expected behaviour would be when you click page "4" from among a list of links for pages 1 - 5, the "1" link should be hidden and number "6" should be revealed in the pagination. This would allow the current page to remain centered in a list of 5 page links.
