Symptoms

ISSUE CLARIFICATION

On 11.1.11.1.0 
When attempting to create AR Receipt Class and Method., the following error occurs.

ERROR

ORA-01403: no data found ORA-06512: at line 1

 

diagnostic.log will show the following: 
Caused by: oracle.jbo.JboException: JBO-29000: Unexpected exception caught: java.sql.SQLException, msg=ORA-01403: no data found
ORA-06512: at line 1

at oracle.apps.financials.receivables.receiptSetup.receiptClasses.uiModel.applicationModule.ReceiptClassUIAMImpl.createOrUpdateRcptMethodDocSeqCategory(ReceiptClassUIAMImpl.java:825)

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Should be able to add Receipt Method for an existing Receipt Class without error

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Go to Manage Receipt Class and Method
2. Search on Existing Receipt Class
3. Try to create a Receipt Method under an existing Receipt Class
4. Receive the error

Error will also show when you try to add a Remittance Bank Account for an existing Receipt Method.

 

 

 

 



BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, Customer cannot create new Receipt Methods or add or update Remittance Bank Account information. 

 

Changes

 Customer made changes to previously entered Receipt Method Names or deleted Sequence Categories for previously entered Receipt Methods
