Control Effective Dates of Talent Score
In our Talent Review business process, we typically conduct talent reviews throughout 2016, where employees are assigned a Talent Score for the year.
There are many data scenarios where the managers enter the ratings via the Career Planning page in 2016, then HR updates the ratings in the Talent Review Meeting later that year. That rating that HR gives should be the effective rating for all of 2016, into 2017. It is very important to be able to report on these ratings accurately. For example, we need to know what a person's 2016 rating was, but are unable to look at the data to determine their ONE correct rating for the year. There are also times we want to give a person a rating in 2016, but do not want it to display in the UI the next year, since the review process begins again.
Our question is:
How can we control the effective dates of Talent Scores? When we have ratings where the effective dates need to be edited, there is no way to currently control that in the system. For admin to clean up data, we need to be able to adjust the DATE_TO and DATE_FROM of these ratings, in order for them to be accurate in reporting. The functionality for admin to update effective dates exists in PeopleSoft today, but not in Fusion.
There is not a way we can find to control these effective dates currently. When we try to enable the DATE_TO and DATE_FROM in the UI, it does not display. (via Manage Profile Types > Person Profile > Edit > Talent Score > DATE_TO Display = Both > Save. It does not display in the UI (Team Talent page > Career Planning tab > Edit).
