How to restrict any modifications on  Opportunity when the status ='Closed' ?

The solution is to create an Object Validation Rule script that prints an error when someone tries to save an Opportunity that is already "not open" (lost, no sale, or won).

The OSC behavior is having problems only when I try to CLOSE open opportunities. I can edit the open ones, and my script blocks updates on closed ones. But, when I try to change the status to each one else, my script triggers and prints an error.

The only issue is when trying to CLOSE open opportunities. When the status is changed the script triggers and prints an error.
