Goal

Timestamp (punch) based timecards are configured. System is allowing employees to enter overlapping time entries.

For example, they are able to enter time on Monday as 10:00pm - 5:00 am and on Tuesday as 3:00 am - 9:00 am. in this example, there is an overlap between 3:00 am and 5:00 am.

How can this issue be remediated to stop overlapping time entries from occurring?
