How To Troubleshoot Electronic Bank Statement Process SFTP Failures (Doc ID 2225338.1)

Goal

Process Electronic Bank Statement ESS job automates the process of connecting to bank and downloading the bank statement file. This is done using "Secure File Retrieval Protocol" (SFTP_GET) provided by Fusion Payments. Bank statement file download using SFTP_GET requires direct point to point connection from SaaS Cloud to Bank SFTP server to be opened. However, starting Release 13.18.05, application leverages proxy based SFTP connection. We no longer need to open DIRECT connection. Instead, by default, application uses PROXY based connection. There is no need to create SFTP_TRHOUGH PROXY lookup.

The following steps should be used when troubleshooting failures due to connectivity issues with bank either using DIRECT or PROXY connection.
