SIC Code Is Not Populating Properly In Account

Information in this document applies to any platform.
In the Account object we are using Industry and SIC code fields.
For an account if I choose Industry field and save for a first time, only Industry value will be populated but SIC code will be empty.
But If I edit industry field again and select same or different industry, SIC Code will be populated in the page.
