Need to change coverage start date for 12 employees
We recently transferred a large group of employees between legal entities. We needed to continue insurance coverage with no break in service so we added a benefit group that we have to manage this. However, this benefit group does apply our normal rules for enrollment (first of month following 60 days).
Question is how can we change the coverage start date for 12 employees?
Their coverage start date is 4/1 (normal enrollment rule) but for these we want to make an exception and change coverage start date to 2/1.
We know we can modify configuration, and then recreate new hire life event for these 12 employees, but is this our only option?
We don't want a temporary configuration change to have affects on other new hires in progress.
