Symptoms
Inability to change hire date of employee
Receive the error:
You cannot select this work relationship start date because assignments with invalid managers exist on the date. Correct the manager relationships to continue. (PER-1531838)
or receive a slightly different message
You cannot select this date because some assignments in the work relationship are used in a manager relationship. Remove the manager relationship to continue. (PER-1531839)
This error can occur when attempting to change the Legal Employer Hire Date of a person through the Edit Work Relationship Responsive User Interface (RUI).
