Symptoms

Customer has submitted a Duplicate Resolution Request job that is unsuccessful with this error message:
An error occurred when running the merge service.
Check the server log file for more information.: JBO-26048: Constraint "MOO_OPTY_U1" is violated during post operation "Update" using SQL statement "UPDATE MOO_OPTY OpportunityEO SET CUST_PARTY_ID=:1,SALES_ACCOUNT_ID=:2 WHERE OPTY_ID=:3".

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue customer is unable to run the merge request for the selected accounts.
