Cannot Read Property 'Data' Of Undefined" Or 'Undefined Is Not An Object' (Doc ID 2230644.1)

On : N/A version, Rules Engine

Browser throwing a typeError pointing at a custom javascript.

The following errors are logged by EE:
  - Cannot read property 'data' of undefined [runJavaScript/11]>
  - undefined is not an object (evaluating '') [runJavaScript/11]>

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Using IE9, go to the customer website
2. navigate to a page where the rule that calls the javascript file  is triggered
3. NOTE: the error comes from the browser in the absence of the Console tab (debugging tool) and is logged by EE.

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, the action of the rule is not performed.
