Goal

Is it possible to reschedule the lines for drop ship orders, i.e. change the Scheduled Ship Date ?

An error is reported when attempting to change the Scheduled Ship Date on a Drop Ship Order:

This fulfillment line cannot be updated because the purchase request is at the requisition stage (or purchase order if already created) in the procurement application.

A business case has been described where customers need to change the Scheduled Ship Date on a Drop Ship Order.:

1. Sales orders are created with a distant future date.
2. The Lines on the order are for Drop Ship Items.
3. There are instances when the sales order lines are to be shipped earlier than the original date.

Changing the Scheduled Ship Date is not possible as the error is raised.
