When Performing a Large CSV Import, No CSV File Displaying the Error is Produced: Failed to load resource: net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET (Doc ID 2231728.1)

Symptoms

When a CSV file containing 500 rows is imported into Unifier the import failed due an invalid character in a specific field; a corresponding CSV document with the error displayed was provided by Unifier as expected.  
However, when an 1800 row CSV file was imported with the same invalid character, no CSV file displaying the error was produced.

So in this case the failed import was expected because the import file had some invalid data that needed to be fixed.  But the problem reported to Oracle was that no CSV file was produced displaying the reason for the failed import.

When a browser network trace was viewed during the the import of the 1800 row CSV file, an error was found 5 minutes into the the import process:

Failed to load resource: net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET
