Symptoms

On : 11.1.10.0.0 version, UK - United Kingdom Legislation

When attempting to update Pensions Automatic Enrollment card, the following error occurs.

ERROR
-----------------------
"A qualifying scheme component is required to set the qualifying scheme joining method to manually enrolled. "

 

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigator > Manage Person > Search for Person > Manage Payroll Calculation Information
2. Click on Pensions Automatic Enrollment card
3. Associations > Calculation Component Details > Click on Pensions Automatic Enrollment
4. Edit > Correct
5. Change Employee Classification for Pensions from Not yet assessed to "Eligible jobholder"
6. Enter Eligible Jobholder Date "01-Jan-2016"
7. Update Qualifying Scheme Joining Name to "XXXX Pension"
8. Enter Qualifying Scheme Joining Method to "Manually enrolled"
9. Enter Qualifying Scheme Joining Date to "01-Jan-2016"
10. Save > Error
