How to store and maintain employee personal information in system like Travel, other extra information done

how to store special information like, Travel Info etc in the system against the person.
Note : We are moving from Oracle EBS HRMS to Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud as part of this implementation project. Currently in Oracle EBS we are having travel request created by employee which goes through to the manager for approval and later it gets approved and can be checked as history whenever required. This very functionality was achieved in EBS by using EIT/SIT features. But now when we are moving to HCM Fusion, we do not find any feature to cater to this which we think is a big bug as there is no provision of catering to the employee requests. Can you please check whether there are any other ways or workaround to achieve this?
