Resource record popping up in DCL for Contact object (Doc ID 2233987.1)

Goal

On a custom object, customer has created a custom DCL which is pointing to Contact object. This DCL has been displayed in the Details layout of the custom object but when clicking on it, customer is seeing both Contact and Resources.
The requirement is to see only Contact records. How can this be achieved?
