CRM Integration: Auto Synchs Fails and Some Target Field Mappings Are Blank

Information in this document applies to any platform.
An auto synch call fails and when looking at the field mapping, some or all of the target fields are blank.
- The CRM Admin may advise that no changes have been made to the fields on their side
- Refreshing the field list does not resolve the issue (see caution note below)
Do NOT refresh CRM entities in Eloqua if you have multiple CRMs of the same type (i.e. two SFDC instances) enabled for your instance! This will break your integration!
- To refresh the field list: Navigate to Settings > Platform Extensions : Integration > Configuration > Manage CRM System Users > click ▼ next to CRM name (e.g. Salesforce) > select List Fields > select the desired entity (Accounts or Contact) >Click Refresh Field List > Confirm that the fields refresh to a green checkmark
