Symptoms

Some users are experiencing an error message when attempting to access the EPS sub-tab under the Projects tab using the Standard (non-Java) view. The Error popup message reads "Unable to load data - Unknown error, please contact your System Administrator

In P6Webaccess.html, below error messages can be found:

com.primavera.PhoenixException: Error opening projects
at com.primavera.pvweb.pm.ProjectStartPageAction.a(Unknown Source)
at com.primavera.pvweb.pm.ProjectStartPageAction.a(Unknown Source)
at com.primavera.pvweb.pm.ProjectStartPageAction.executeGet(Unknown Source)

Caused by: com.primavera.PhoenixException: Failed to open projectsORA-00001: unique constraint (ADMUSER.PK_PROJSHAR) violated
at com.primavera.bo.remotable.SpecialQueryHelper.openProjects(Unknown Source)
at com.primavera.bo.remotable.SpecialQueryHelper.openProjectsAsReadOnly(Unknown Source)
at com.primavera.bo.remotable.qproxy.SpecialQueryHelper.openProjectsAsReadOnly(Unknown Source)

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log in P6 Web -> EPS > Project
  2. Select a Global View <viewname> and move it to User Level View
  3. Log in as a user who was accessing Global View <viewname>
