Fusion Applications: Submitting ESS Job From ERP Integration Web Service Results In "Retrying" Status (Doc ID 2237615.1)

Symptoms

When developers submit an ESS Job "ReleasePausedEventTasksJob" through the ERP Integration web service , the job always fails and ends up in "Retrying" status. This was working fine before a recent P2T. This job runs with success if just run from Schedule Processes.

In the SCM ESS server log, where the job "ReleasePausedEventTasksJob" is executed, the following error message appeared for that job:
