How To Make the Multi-Row - Multi-Column Attribute Group Mandatory Attribute Not Unique (Doc ID 2238068.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 22, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Product Hub Cloud Service - Version 11.1.11.1.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

When defining multi-row/ multi-column attribute groups in Product Hub, one of the attributes is required to be a mandatory attribute and the mandatory attribute is required to be a unique value.

For the use case, the combination of data in each row is unique but certain values in the rows will be reused and hence not unique within a column.

Example:

At1*        At2         At3
----------------------------
M3           A           47
M3           K           52
X5            K           47
X5            A           52
K7         <Null>      47
K7            M        <Null>
L9         <Null>    <Null>

How the attribute be made just mandatory and NOT unique in attribute definition?

If Uniqueness is required, can the uniqueness be on the combination of all attributes in the group?
