Goal
GMX and Web.de are free webmail services based in Germany. The evaluation of incoming email is their top priority to protect their users from unsolicited emails.
The ISPs’ filter systems are comprised of both IP-based and content-based filter modules. At times, these ISPs may temporarily or permanently refuse to accept a sender’s emails if they notice certain conditions are not being met. A sender demonstrating characteristics of spam may also experience a delay in delivery.
