ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Different security behavior between import and create contact manually from UI

I have grant edit access for all sales user to edit contact even they is not the owner or as team member. When the contact record is coming from import process, the other sales user only can see the contact record as ready only and only the owner and administrator can edit the contact record.


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
System should behave in same manner for both the contacts

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1.Login to system with the sales rep user
2. Search contact contact1 and contact2
3. contact1 is editable and contact2 is not editable
4. Both the contacts are owned by user1

BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot edit contact data
