Sync Issue When Creating Child Object Records In Outlook

On : version, Microsoft Outlook

Outlook sync is throwing a synchronization error (Operation: Addition, Error code FC0097) when creating and syncing multiple Opportunity child object records in Outlook. If a second sync is run, often the records are duplicated. Subsequent re-synchronization of the records leads to even further duplication.


Addition error of 'childObject_c' object to storage 'Remote': object_locked

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Open Outlook.
2. Open Opportunity.
3. Create a few child object records.
4. Sync Outlook with OSC.
