After Upgrading to 17.1 Publishing Errors Occur and Querying The API for Status Returns Deployment Failed (Doc ID 2245445.1)

On an Oracle Commerce Cloud instance, after upgrading to the latest release there were 250 items in the queue for publishing.

When a publish was attempted on 17.1, the published failed with a generic error.

Deployment failed. Not attempting recovery deployment. Check DeploymentRepository for errors.

Querying the API for status returns "Deployment failed"

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1.Upgrade to the latest release of the product.
2.See 250+ items left in the publishing queue.
3 Attempt to publish.
4. See error.
5. Check the publishing status via the REST API
6. See "Deployment Failed"

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot publish changes in the OCCS-Administration Interface.


 Recently migrated to the latest release of the OCCS product.
