Unable to access compute Instance after installing EBS packages . (Doc ID 2246946.1)

-   When trying to reboot/shutdown the Instance , The  following messages is raised :

 Request to shut down instance "Instance _name " failed.: Bad request. {"message": {"shape": "Field is required"}} [005Inw^IM2E6uHFpR0CCyd0001__000EOL]

That was followed by a message:

Selected site currently unavailable. Try again later. If the problem persists, contact Oracle Support.

-  Starting  with fresh instance .

- After restarting the newly fresh instance with "reboot" command from within the VM,  Still Not able to access the instance again.

-  Run Yum update , got package updates .

-  Run  yum install oracle-ebs-server-R12-preinstall .

-  Before the  next reboot starts ,  the following message  is raised :

# reboot
PolicyKit daemon disconnected from the bus.
We are no longer a registered authentication agent.



 - OS update to grub.conf
