When a user views the calendar, he/she is able to right click on an appointment and the calendar Context Menu appears with a list of actions.
Reference Bug 24589144-CRM ER NEED TO EDIT CALENDAR CONTEXT MENU. This ER is to customize the actions in the context menu when right clicking an appointment in the calendar. It has been approved for a future release.
This is an enhancement request to add the context menu to other objects, primarily the account object. Attached is a rough draft design. If you right click on an account, a context menu would appear that has customizable actions and details about the account. We would like the ability to add custom actions (made in Actions and Links), OOTB actions (example would be “Log a Call”), and to add details about the account (team members).
A context menu on the account object (and all other objects) would reduce multiple clicks for users. It would greatly streamline the process of researching accounts and who is on the team for them. It would greatly streamline the day-to-day process of an end user who has to record multiple activities against multiple accounts per day. Any way to reduce clicks and add universal functionality to the product should be highly considered.
