Shopping Cart is Not Cleared After Placing an Order

Shopping Cart is not cleared after placing an order.
1) Log into storefront.
2) Add some products in to Cart.
3) Checkout by using credit card.
4) Place an order and go to home page --> Items in the shopping cart remain.
