Symptoms

When inserting a custom URL into a message template or user-defined field (UDF) and it contains the &lang parameter, the web browser automatically converts that to a parenthesis (

For example:
https://supporttst1.taleo.net/careersection/ex/jobdetail.ftl?job={Requisition.Number}&lang=de

After saving the message template or UDF, this URL breaks and turns into:
https://supporttst1.taleo.net/careersection/ex/jobdetail.ftl?job={Requisition.Number}(=de
