This document is for new R13 customers who are getting started with their sales implementations. It describes how to import and use an implementation project designed to speed up the initial implementation described in the Oracle CX Sales Getting Started with Your Sales Implementation guide. The implementation project speeds up your work by providing a launching pad with links to the setup tasks you carry out from the Setup and Maintenance work area, Scheduled Processes, and other work areas.
** Note: Starting with update 20B, we recommend customers use Setup Assistant to complete some of the initial setup steps. The implementation project is no longer being updated.**
Both the implementation project and the Oracle Engagement Cloud Getting Started with Your Sales Implementation guide cover the tasks required to set up a pilot business to business sales application. You must create your own implementation project based on the Sales Offering for other uses.
There are two variations of the implementation project you can download depending on how much functionality you want to set up:
- Quick Setup Core Sales: Use this implementation project for account, contact, and opportunity management only.
- Quick Setup Sales: Use this implementation project if you also want to include additional features such as sales campaigns, leads, quotas, sales forecasting, and Gmail integration.
The Getting Started with Your Sales Implementation guide covers the tasks in both variations.
